Artist Statement:
Elton Tucker is a visual artist and native New Yorker. You can see this in the energy that moves through his work. Vibrant colors,
bold patterns, spirituality and movement of the city inspires his work. His interest in figurative and abstract paintings began early. A graduate of the High School of Art and Design, he furthered his education at the Fashion Institute of Technology and additional studies at the Art Students League of New York. I see my talent as a gift from the Creator and something to be cherished and shared with others. Elton's work has been exhibited in numerous group shows, some of which include, Audubon artist, Hudson Guild Gallery, Carter Burden Gallery, Chashama Film Festival, Leslie Lohman Museum, Taller Boricua Gallery and the West Side Arts Coalition. I feel my mission is to produce work people can relate to, get inspiration from and utilize in their everyday lives.
