Poetry: The Shattered City I

SHIRLEY ZINA PINIAT

Recent /Upcoming Shows:

June 16 - July 11, 2004 West Side Arts Coalition "A Mid-Summer's Dream"

Statement:

My work is strong yet poetic.
My thoughts are simple yet thoroughly
thought out. I assemble form
and subject matter with a great deal of
calculated effort. The finished product is a
balance of color and
intricate line.
I feel deeply and,
therefore, I must follow
through with conviction,
And the finished form is like a symphony.
The work is malleable
and resilient enough
to stand the test of time.
My background is of
the great artists
whose integrity
is woven into my ability.
A new capability with a new view
is within my realm.
I take a great deal of pride
in my values and judgement.
