MARIANNE McNAMARA

Bio:
Marianne McNamara lives on Manhattan's Upper West Side. A former fashion artist, Marianne is currently active as a painter as well as a renderer of commissioned "portraits" of neighborhood brownstones.

Marianne is a graduate of Parsons School of Design. Her training includes classes at the Art Students League and School of Visual Arts. She is a member of the West Side Arts Coalition and Women in the Arts.

Marianne is also a published poet and essayist.

Statement:
I paint and write about what I see and know. There is no mystery to what I do - it's just life - as defined by me. I hope my work speaks to others in some way.
